My name is Mary Cameron Brooks. I am currently earning my Master of Arts in Teaching from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. I finished my coursework and student taught at Glenvar High School for College Bound and Pre-Advanced Placement Chemistry. Once I obtain my Virginia teaching license, I will be licensed to teach secondary chemistry. I have accepted a job and will teach chemistry at Cosby High School in Midlothian, Virginia for Chesterfield County Public Schools. I am very excited and priviledged to begin my teaching career at Cosby High School.

In addition to teaching, my other interests include being outside, hiking, water skiing, traveling, ballet, and fine arts. I enjoy living in Roanoke and taking advantage of all of the outdoor activities. I already miss Roanoke, but I cannot wait to move to Richmond and explore my new city more in depth. My Philosophy of Education explains more about my background, interests, and my perspective as an educator.
